Richard A. “Dick” Williams, loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. Dick was born January 8, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Robert and Marjorie Williams. He was CEO of Crawford Overhead Door of Indianapolis. Dick was a long time real estate agent, later joining his wife as The Williams Team, with FC Tucker. After retirement, he worked with children & youth, which was his enjoyment, as a bus driver and lunch room monitor for Carmel Clay Schools.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, June 3 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, and from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm Saturday, June 4 at Church at the Crossing. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at the church Saturday at 1:00 pm.
Dick is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara L.; sons, Richard A. “Rick” (Mary Lou), Michael R. “Mike” and Daniel W. “Danny” (Pam) Williams; 12 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild; sisters, Cheryl (Denny) Walters and Karen (Rick) Roethke; brothers, Roger (Lynn) and Dr. Randy (Pam) Williams-Goode. Dick was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert P. and Ronald K. Williams, Kim and Kip Goode.
