Rev. Thurston Daniel Hunt

87, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 28, 2016. He was a graduate of the University of Louisville and received his Masters from Butler University. He was a retired teacher for I.P.S. and Washington Township Schools, last teaching at John Strange Elementary. He was also a professor at Central Baptist Theological Seminary and was the founder of State Street Baptist Church, New Albany, IN. He was preceded in death by his wives, Imo Jean Hunt and Carol Bush Hunt. He is survived by his children, Winston (Sue) Hunt and Teena Hunt; grandson, Daniel Hunt and by stepsons, Sam and Mike Bush and family. Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 3 to 6 pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple with services on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 3 pm at the funeral center.
