Retta Marie (Teter) Wisthoff, age 80, of Indianapolis, passed away November 12, 2018. Retta was born on March 12, 1938 to the late, Orvin and Maude Elizabeth (Robbins) Teter. The family moved to Muncie, IN and Retta went on to graduate from Muncie Central High School. Upon returning to Indianapolis, Retta worked for several years with Herff Jones Jewelry, before leaving the workforce to raise her family. She returned to work as a cafeterian at Bishop Chatard High School.

Retta is survived by her husband, James P. Wisthoff, whom she married on November 17, 1973; her son, Carl Wisthoff and his former spouse, Holly Wisthoff; and her beloved granddaughters, Abigail and Amelia Wisthoff.

Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5884 Crittenden Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1pm. Burial will follow services in Boxley Cemetery, Boxley, IN.
