Rebecca J. -Becky- Holder

Rebecca J. “Becky” Holder, age 63, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 2, 1954 to John E. and Mary Katherine (White) Frye, who preceded her in death.

She graduated from Southport High School in 1972 and married David L. Holder, her high school sweetheart, on September 2, 1972. She had worked for Turnstyle Dept. Store, was unit secretary in the lab at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove and then was office manager for Randy Christie DDS.

She was a member of Greenwood Bantam Football League, serving on the Board of Directors as league secretary from 1987 through 2006, also managing the concession stand and fundraising at various times.

Becky is survived by her husband, David L. Holder; daughter, Dana (Errol) Dodson; son, Derek (Lyndsey) Holder; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Bailey, Alexis, Kendall and Michaela Dodson, Madeline and Broderek Holder; sister, Patricia (Nick) Duda; brothers, Jeff and Dennis Frye; nephews, Mark and Jason Fenn and Matt Frye; niece, Shelby Frye; and in-laws, William L. and Laverne Holder.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. also at the funeral center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenwood Bantam Football League, Center Grove Bantam Football League or the Alzheimer’s Association.
