Raymond Stanley Cartwright

Raymond “Stanley” Cartwright, 90, of New Palestine, IN passed away September 5, 2020. He was born in Camden, New Jersey on July 21, 1930 to the late William Thomas and Elizabeth Margaret Cartwright.

Stanley attended Arsenal Tech High School and graduated early to go straight into the workforce as an engineer. He worked at General Steel among other local companies as an engineer, but in later years he was successfully self-employed.

Stanley is survived by his 4 adoring children, Tom Cartwright, Steve Cartwright, Teri (Steve) Donahue, and Tami (David) Kremer; 4 grandchildren, Chad Cartwright, David Cartwright, Seth Kremer, and Heather Kremer.

Stanley is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Mary A. Cartwright (Horton); by granddaughter, Erin Donahue; and daughter-in-law, Linda Cartwright.

Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church – 8540 E. 16th St., Indianapolis, IN 46219 on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by memorial service at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
