Raymond Lee Duncan, 79, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away September 7, 2019. He was born on April 24, 1940 to the late William and Vergie Duncan.

Raymond was the dedicated husband to Geneva Branscum Duncan for nearly 60 years and together they raised four loving sons.

After Raymond retired, he loved fixing things and could fix anything from cars new and old, to lawnmowers, weed eaters, chainsaws. You name it he could fix it. He would always make time for neighborhood kids to fix bikes or put air in basketballs. He loved helping people.

Raymond was a hard-working man dedicated to his family and providing all that he could for them. In his free time, he had a passion for fishing. He could always be seen wearing his signature bib overalls, layered with a flannel.

Raymond is survived by his beloved wife, Geneva Duncan; sons, Mike, Jerry (Patricia), Jeff (Kerri), and Chris (Lisa); grandchildren, Nick, Chad, Chris, Travis, Matt, Maci, Shane, Austin and Eli; great-grandchildren, Rayli, Jessa, Harlee and Christopher.

He is preceded in death by parents William and Vergie Duncan; brothers, Buddy, Clifford, and Leo; and sisters, Helen, Betty and Elsie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 10AM-12PM with a funeral service immediately following at 12PM noon at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46229. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
