Ray Reynolds, age 66, passed away peacefully at home on August 20, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ray resided in Noblesville, IN, at the time of his passing. He was born on December 30, 1957, in Milan, IN, to Gordon and Melda (Johnson) Reynolds.
Ray grew up in Milan and attended Milan High School. He married the love of his life, Wanda, on April 5, 1980, in Milan, and together they raised two sons, Travis and Kurtis Reynolds. Ray dedicated most of his career to construction, taking pride in building and creating with his hands.
He was a proud lifelong member of Moose International Lodge, where he served as Governor. In his free time, Ray enjoyed woodworking and took great pride in maintaining his lawn meticulously. In his later years, Ray cherished time with his mini-goldendoodle, Sue, who often accompanied him on truck rides to get hamburgers.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Melda Reynolds; his sisters, Sue Reynolds, Ruth Hankins, and Pauleen Rohrig; and his brothers, Robert Reynolds, Marion Reynolds, Haskell Reynolds, and Gordon Reynolds Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Wanda Reynolds of Noblesville, IN; his sons, Travis Reynolds (Emily Reynolds) and Kurtis Reynolds, both of Noblesville, IN; his sisters, Katherine Minger and Margaret Lochard, both of Milan, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at the Noblesville Moose Lodge on August 29, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Graveside services will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Noblesville Moose Lodge, 950 Field Drive, Noblesville, IN 46060.
Ray will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love for his family and friends, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
