Ray Alan Burk

Ray Alan Burk, 73, passed away on May 17, 2022.

He was born on September 24, 1948 in San Mateo, California to Charles and Alice Burk.

Ray was an avid sports fan and enjoyed football, baseball, golf, and bowling.

He attended the University of Evansville and received his Bachelors Degree. He went on to work for Mayflower Transport and Marathon.

Ray married the love of his life, Jennefer Piper, on November 19, 1977.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 44 years, Jennefer Burk; children, Tron Hardy (Sheila) and Amanda Lewis (Jason); grandchildren, Miles Cooper, Courtney Jurczak, and Kathryn Lewis; sister, Karen Haas; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Charles Ronald and Charlene.

A private immediate family service will be held in Washington Park East Cemetery. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
