Randy Alan Childers

Randy A. Childers, 64, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital.

He was born April 27, 1955. He attended Arsenal Technical High School. He worked at Milam’s Used Cars for 47 years as the general manager.

Randy had a smile and laugh that was contagious. He was the life of the party and could light up a room. He loved traveling and going on vacations, but most of all he loved his family very much.

He is survived by his wife Karen L. Childers; daughter Shelly Childers Beck (Brien); Step-sons David (Diane), Kyle (Ashley), and Ryan Walke; grandchildren Dylan, Gabrielle, Lucas, Luci, Henry, and Ellie; siblings Vicky Chapman, Michael Childers, Greg Childers, and Melissa Greene.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bonnie J. Hazel and James A. Childers; grandparents Charles E. Carrico, Lucy Irene Carrico, James H. Childers, and Hallie O. Childers.

A private family visitation and graveside service will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.
