Dr. Ramon Gaylon Halum Jr., 90, passed away at Independence Village of Fishers South on Thursday, July 14, 2022. He was born in Bulusan, Sorsogon, Philippines on November 14, 1931 to Ramon Halum Sr. and Salvacion Gaylon Halum. Ramon was an accomplished urologist, running his own practice in Munster, Indiana for 47 years. He was a talented individual who adored singing and dancing. He also loved playing tennis and guitar. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Nathalie Renee Halum Manges (Joel Miller), Kurt Mathew Halum (Maki Schultz Halum), Ramon Gaylon Halum III (Stacey L.), and Michelle Cynthia Halum Edwards (Michael); grandchildren, Alyssa, Austin, Samuel, Jackson, Carson, Kurt, Alexis, Lila, Brady, and Audrey; one great grandchild, Jayden; siblings, Treson Gaylon Halum and Ellena Gaylon Halum Cuveas; and countless nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Domingo, Paciente, Rogado, Alicia, and Martin; and son-in-law, Michael E. Manges. Funeral Mass will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Simon the Apostle Church, 8155 Oaklandon Road, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46236. Visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. with service to follow.
