Ralph Forbes Lasley

Ralph Forbes Lasley passed into heaven the evening of December 9, 2022. He was born to Arthur K. and Mildred (Forbes) Lasley on December 31, 1928, in Indianapolis, IN. Ralph graduated from Elwood High School in 1946 and from Purdue University in Electrical Engineering in 1954. He worked his entire career for Indiana Bell (AT&T). Ralph was an active member of the United Methodist Church all his life and a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Frankfort, IN for many years. He was a proud member of the John Purdue Club for 40 years, and also a member of the Masonic Lodge and of the Elks Lodge. Ralph enjoyed golfing with his buddies, attending Purdue football games and wintering in Arizona with his daughter. He was preceded in death by his brothers Scott and Jim Lasley, and his son Gary L. Lasley. Ralph is survived by his daughter, Teri L. Lasley of Phoenix, AZ, grandson Ryan (Alyssa Ashmore) Lasley, grandson Nate (Kristin Mercer) Lasley, granddaughter Anne-Sophie Lasley, and great-grandsons Ben, Jack and Drew Lasley.
Ralph was an active and ‘young’ 93 years old and will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will be Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11:00am followed by a funeral service at 12:00pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North Cemetery and Funeral Center, 2706 Kessler Blvd, West Dr., Indianapolis, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthew United Methodist Church, or The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
