Ralph Curtis Skaggs

Ralph Skaggs, 61, of Camby, Indiana, passed away shortly after midnight on Monday, October 24, 2022. He was born on November 21, 1960, to William and Jerry Skaggs. Ralph is survived by his wife of 25 years, Shannon Skaggs, his son, Scott Von Essen (Dawn Von Essen) and daughter Stacey Taft (PJ Taft), his brother Scott Skaggs (Sherri Skaggs) and sister Cathy Levingston (Kevin Levingston), his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

Ralph was a kind, gentle and loving man who truly valued his family, friends and his two dogs. He loved sports, especially baseball and golf. Over the years throughout his youth to adulthood, Ralph accumulated a large collection of trophies from his superior athletic talent. If it was a sport, he was a natural at it, no matter what it was. His favorite sports teams were IU and the Indianapolis Colts. His favorite golfer was Bubba Watson. Ralph also enjoyed camping, fishing, and animals (He was a huge animal lover).

Ralph was a devoted husband and family man, and he will be missed more than words can express.
