R. Michael "Mike" Hundley passed away April 12, 2025 after a long illness. He was born on August 24, 1941 in Mooresville, IN.
He graduated from Mooresville High School in 1959. He worked in the family-owned business, Hundley Five and Dime and Hundley’s Hardware and Appliance. Mike then moved to Indianapolis where he worked as a top-level waiter at the famous Embers Supper Club and an assistant manager of The Huddle restaurant.
Mike then joined the Marion County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff in 1973. He retired from MCSD in 1998 after 25 years of service.
Mike was an avid photographer and enjoyed riding his Harley with close friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Lowery Hundley, mother, Mary Francis Hundley, and brother, Lowery Hundley II.
Mike is survived by his godson, Kris Scrimager (Lea), former wife, Katia Hundley, stepson, Christiano Rodriguis (Elizabeth), and step-grandson, Fernando Rodriguis. As well as close friends.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, from 4pm to 7pm, at Flanner Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Avenue. A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, April 23, at 11:30am, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 7575 E Holliday Drive.
