Phyllis Jean Raimondi

Phyllis Jean Raimondi, age 88, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully on October 5, 2018. She was born in Scottsville, KY on October 26, 1929 to her parents, Ira G. and Rose M. (Green) Carter.

During her career, Phyllis worked as a Commercial Real Estate Analyst first for the McDonald Corporation and retired from Prudential Real Estate Development. Phyllis was a longtime member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She had many loves including: gardening, art, music, literature, animals, traveling- especially to Italy, and spending time with those she loved. Phyllis always had a welcoming heart and generous spirit. She supported many many charities; however, she was particularly supportive of St. Labre Indian School, the Humane Society of the United States and the ASPCA.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jerry Carter. She is survived by her loving daughters, Josephine R. Lawrence and Concetta Raimondi; her granddaughter, Andrea Plozay (Mark); one precious great-granddaughter, Eleanor Plozay; as well as many other loving extended family and friends.

Friends may call from 4pm until 7pm on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Broad Ripple, 1305 E. Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Friday, October 12th at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4217 Central Ave., Indianapolis. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
