Phyllis Jean Cooper

Phyllis Jean Cooper, of Zionsville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the age of 89. Phyllis was born in Lebanon, Indiana on November 13, 1930 to Ernest and Dorothy (Layton) McDaniel, as the oldest of six children. She grew up in Dover, Indiana, and was a graduate from Dover High School.
Phyllis married Fred Cooper on December 1, 1948, and from this Union, three children were born; Fred, Susan, and Doug. She worked for the State of Indiana and American Greetings, and was a member of Traders Point Christian Church.
Phyllis was preceded in death by: her husband, Fred, who passed on September, 10, 1979; parents, Ernest and Dorothy; and siblings, Patricia Wilson, Marilyn Copeland, Shirley Breedlove, Carolyn Wilson, and Gary McDaniel.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her children, Fred (Louvenia) Cooper, Susan (Gary) Taylor, and Doug (Megan) Cooper; 6 grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Melissa, Kyle, Keith, and Elizabeth; 9 great-grandchildren, Drew, Madison, Amber, Karma, TJ, Nicholas, Abigail, Audrey, and Andrew.
