Phyllis Faye O’Connor of Indianapolis died on October 2, 2020 at the age of 75 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 25, 1945 in Birdseye, IN to the late Clovie Hayden King and Bertha Elizabeth Deel King.
She spent her career working for the Finance Center at Fort Harrison. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #17. She was always active and enjoyed golf, bowling, quilting, and square dancing. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children Rebecca Velazquez, Jeff Roach (Tom) and Rick O’Connor (Doris); grandchildren Rachel (Dan), Natalie (Eric), Kendra, Dylan (Jordan), Brittany (Brett), and Brooke (Chris); brother Wayne King (Sue); as well as nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Edward O’Connor and siblings Elvis, Olive, Wilma, and Gerald.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 9 from 12-2 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will begin at 2 PM. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Washington Park East Cemetery.
