Phillip L. "Red" Price

Phillip L “Red” Price, 82, of Indianapolis , Indiana passed away on August 27, 2024. He was born June 30, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana , to Tommy and Bertha Price. Red was employed at Ford Motor Company and retired after 40 years of service. He enjoyed traveling extensively after he retired and listening to the Blues. In later life he became an Indiana Fever fan and enjoyed watching their games.

He is survived by his wife Dixie (Stiko) who he wed on March 10, 1995. Red was preceded in death by his former wife Connie (McPherson). He is survived by his daughter Stacy Lynn (Mike), grandsons Nathan and Charlie Johnson and also his son Anthony (Tony) Price. Left behind to cherish his memory are also his stepchildren Jeff (Beth) Wheeler, Becky(Joe) Thilman, Amy(Mark) Bennett and Paul(Reshia) Wheeler. He is survived by the following grandchildren Lindsey and Megan Wheeler, Hannah, Andrew, and Allison Bennett, Jacob and Sam Thilman, and Jonathon and Jenna Wheeler. 

A celebration of life will be held on September 11, 2024 at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229. Friends and family are welcome to gather that day from 11 am until the time of the service.
