Petrus "Peter" J. Sackers

Petrus J. Sackers of Noblesville, Indiana passed away on May 4, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born on July 10, 1928 to the late Petrus and Adriana R. (Brom) Sackers in Evansville, Indiana. Mr. Sackers worked at Indiana Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 33 years as a Vice President of Communications and Director of Group Sales. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Noblesville.

Mr. Sackers is survived by his daughter, Janice L. Sackers. Sons: Steven R. Sackers and Scott G. Sackers (Elizabeth). There are four grandchildren; Gregory P. Sackers; Zachary S. Sackers (Kate); Peter M. Sackers (Chloe) and Ann Marie Sackers-Noble (Scott).

In addition to his parents, Petrus was preceded in death by his wife, Marie A. (Addison); his brother; Gerrit H. Sackers, his sisters; Elisabeth J. (Sackers) Kleinlein and Adriana R. (Sackers) Armstrong.

Visitation will be from 2:30 – 3:30 pm on Sunday with a service followed at 3:30 pm on May 16, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite) at 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana.  Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Park (private ceremony) in Westfield, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church at 20650 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, Indiana 46062.
