Petra B. Keith

Petra B. (Binkowski) Keith passed away on June 23, 2022 at the age of 67.  She was born in Bodensee, Germany on October 3, 1954, to parents, Heinz and Elisabeth (Wieczork) Binkowski.  Petra met Darrel D. Keith while he was stationed in Germany with the US Army.  The two were married on April 14, 1972.  Petra enjoyed music, including 80’s rock-n-roll, dancing, flowers, working with her in-laws at the Ace Hardware store they owned and operated, but most of all, Petra enjoyed her family.  Spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite pastime.

Petra is survived by her husband, Darrel D. Keith; children: Darrel E. Keith (April), Robert L. Keith (Shanda) and Travis T. Keith; grandchildren: Alexia Keith, Morgan Keith and Devon Keith; great-grandchildren, Jamal Powell, Jr and Alaia Powell; siblings, Utemay, Juata and Jürgen; half-brother, Thorsten; and many other loving extended family members and beloved friends.

Visitation will be held from 2pm until 4pm, Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East (10722 E. Washington St, Indpls), where funeral services will immediately follow, beginning at 4pm.  Entombment will be private in Washington Park East Cemetery.
