Peggy V. Romine

Peggy V. Romine died October 30, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 75.

She was born June 4, 1944 to the late John David and Ida V. Ridgeway in Athens, Alabama.

A sports lover, Peggy was a Little League Softball coach impacting many young women throughout her coaching career. Most of all Peggy loved her family and enjoyed every minute with them.

She leaves behind her daughters Belinda “Gail” Morgan (Jerry) and Karen Small (Keith); grandchildren Audrey Maddux (Chris), Alexis Burgess, and Miranda Underwood; great-grandchildren Gavin Maddux, Alyssa DeBrular, Connor Maddux, Ashlynn Maddux, Anniston Maddux, and Audrina Maddux; and siblings Shirley Roden, Nita Nicholson, Arnold Ridgeway (Debra), Anthony Ridgeway, and Tina Luedeke.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Romine; her parents John and Ida Ridgeway;  her step-mother Helen Gaston; and her siblings Delbert Ridgeway, James Ridgeway, Mary Thompson, and Willa Parks.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 4 from 5 to 8 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.  Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 5 at the funeral home.  Graveside Services will be held at 1 PM at Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis.
