Peggy Jean Robbins, 75, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024. She was a true believer in Jesus Christ and led her life by putting God first. When unexpectedly faced with death, she proved to be completely at peace with God calling her home.
A native of Indianapolis, Peggy was a highly accomplished and respected respiratory therapist, a lover of all animals, especially horses and boxers, that she and her husband spent many years rescuing, rehabilitating and training. She was a loyal friend and a loving family member who dedicated much of her time seeking to help people find salvation.
Over the years, Peggy rode hundreds of miles with her bike club, taught horseback riding and was a top-rate equestrian. In retirement, she was a hard worker in constant motion taking care of the yard and home, and volunteering to help those in need. Some of her fondest memories were summers spent at Lake Wawasee with grandparents, family and friends.
Peggy was preceded in death by her mother Lois Jean and father Bill Robbins. She is survived by her husband Tom Berling and their two woof woofs, her stepson Matt Berling and daughter-in-law Melissa Hankins and granddaughter Olivia Garrett of Fishers, IN, her sister, Marcia Robbins and brother-in-law Charles Cumings of Kansas, niece Jordan Vanderman of Kansas and nephew Tanner Bonk of California.
Friends and family will hold a celebration of life on Sunday June 30, 2024 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at the Forest Park Inn Overlook Room, 701 Cicero Rd, Noblesville IN 46060.
