Peggy Marie (Rinker) Finney

Peggy Marie (Rinker) Finney, 65, of Sheridan, IN passed away on October 14, 2018. Peggy was born in Madison County, IN on September 3, 1953 to parents, Albert and Mary Jane (Mohler) Rinker. She graduated from Muncie Central High School and Central Beauty College. Peggy brightened the lives of her clients for 45 years as a beautician in Carmel, IN, founding Xanadu Hair Designers.

Peggy was a loving mother, doting grandmother and loyal and caring friend. She was committed to Biblical research, teaching, and fellowship for over 40 years, most currently with the Indiana Bible Fellowship. She enjoyed cooking, searching for new recipes and finding the hottest new gadgets, quilting, knitting, and spending time with family and friends.

Peggy is survived by her sons: Adam Finney (Lindsey) and Brian Finney (fiancé, Tanya); grandchildren: Charles, Harlow and Fiona Finney; siblings, Janet Rinker and Wayne Rinker (Melissa); two nieces, Tracy Franklin (Joe) and Katherine Rinker (fiancé, Andrew); as well as many loving extended family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held from 11am until 1pm on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Flanner & Buchanan, 325 E. Carmel Dr., Carmel, IN, where her memorial service will immediately follow at 1pm.
