Peggy Ann Wilson

Peggy Ann Wilson 76 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away unexpectedly August 17, 2022. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 31, 1945, to the late Orville and Doris (Crowley) Barker. Peggy worked at Western Electric as a Line Operator for over 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and she was very faithful to her church, Unity Missionary Baptist Church where she served as the Church Treasurer. Peggy was dearly loved and will be missed greatly by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Mike (Marcy) Wilson, daughter-in-law, Loretta Wilson, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and her two brothers, Jerry Barker, and George Barker. Besides Peggy’s parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, her neighbor growing up, and the two of them were married fifty-four years, Robert “Bob” Wilson, and her son, David L. Wilson. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 4:00pm-6:30 pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the service beginning at 6:30pm. Cremation was her request to her family, and they are honoring her request.
