Peggy Aase Womack

March 4, 1952 — August 11, 2021

Westfield, Indiana

Peggy Aase Womack unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in Minnesota where she was born, while in the company of loving family.

Peggy was born March 4, 1952 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Neil and Shirley Aase and was lovingly raised with her sister Barbara. They grew up surrounded by extended family including their beloved Auntie Karen.

Peggy was fiercely loyal, dedicated and loving.

She deeply loved her husband of 50 years, Bob, who she met in Overland Park, Kansas. They married June 12, 1971. Bob was her hero, her best friend and the love of her life. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in June 2021 in Ludington, Michigan, a special family gathering place for 44 years. They were joined by their children, daughter in laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was an extremely proud mother of her three sons: Trey, Neil and Josh. She was active in all areas of their lives and loved supporting them in any way she could. She was overjoyed when they each married as she gained three daughters: Ashleigh, Beth and Kate.

Peggy loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She had 7 grandchildren: Elisa (Wilson), Michael, Jesse, Corrine, Braxton, Layton and Roland. She had 3 great-grandchildren: Jace, Wakely and Tinsley.

Peggy loved others and family included everyone around her, regardless of whether they were actually related. She gave everything she had in every situation. Her generous spirit was evident to everyone she met.

Peggy is survived by her husband, sons and their families; her sister Barbara, niece Carey and nephew Aaron; step-daughter Eliska; as well as extended family from Louisiana to Minnesota. She loved and cherished every relationship.

While her loss was unexpected and she will be extremely missed, as her family, we celebrate her life and will keep her in our hearts forever.
