Pauline Murnane, 67, of Westfield, Indiana was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on February 23, 2021. A first generation American, Pauline was born July 5, 1953, in Parma, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Vasilenko) Masica. She was the youngest of six and her mother instilled in her from a very young age and throughout her life, that she was loved and treasured by God.
She met her true love, Dan Murnane, forty-two years ago and they built their family around a deep love for the Lord. Their mornings spent reading the Word were her favorite and she treasured being twirled by her “Bebes”. There was never a love stronger. She had a mother’s touch from the moment Marc, her first son, was born. Together they shared a love for worship and continually challenged each other’s faith to be deeper and more authentic. Three years later, Katie was born and brought her the joys of a mother daughter relationship. Their relationship grew to be one of best friends, confidants, forging an unbreakable bond. Her third child, John, would forever be her baby boy and would be the one to bring her laughter and rejuvenate her sense of adventure and travel. She was an extremely involved grandmother and was affectionately known as Gigi to her four grandchildren, who loved her immensely for her adventurous spirit. Her utmost desire for her family was to show her love and share God’s love with them.
Pauline’s love and affection was never limited to family. Her heart was made constantly full by her Lord and Savior and was a natural encourager to anyone she met. She had a passion for decorating homes, creating floral arrangements and doing anything that she could to enhance the beauty of the world around. Her many friends would say that her elegance, poise, humor and godliness shown out of her like a beacon.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Dan Murnane; three children, Marc (Amy) Murnane, Katie Murnane, John (Emanuela) Murnane; four grandsons, Leeland, Bridgman, Duke Murnane and Oliver Beyler; four siblings, Maria Alexovich, Anne McFarland, Joseph Masica, and John (Julie) Masica; sisters-in-law, Molly Murnane and Peggi (Jim) Grimes and brother-in-law, Paul Murnane; niece, Tammy (Randall) Curry; four nephews, Scott (Terry) McFarland, Jack (Stephanie) Masica, Ken Masica, and Jon Reeves; great niece Alexa Reeves and three great nephews, Brandon (Cheryl) and Todd (Courtney) Morrison, and Heath McFarland. She was preceded in passing by a sister, Mary Brenner and sister-in-law Kathy Murnane.
