Mrs. Pauline Grace Masters was born to Ray Fowler and Nadine Fowler on July 17, 1919 in Morgan County, Indiana. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Masters, and two of her children, Carolyn Smith and Dale Pickett.
Pauline received her high school education in Indiana and soon after she married James Pickett and they had three children, Carolyn Smith, Dale Pickett, and James Pickett Jr. She later married Allen Masters in the early 1970’s, and they remained married until he passed in 1988.
Pauline was a woman that didn’t shy away from hard work, of her many talents; she worked as a server, and also at Real Silk Hosiery in Indianapolis where she eventually retired as a supervisor.Pauline will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother, who enjoyed breeding dogs, boating, gardening, and just generally enjoying life.
Pauline’s memory will be cherished by all those that survive her, including: her son-in-law, Raymond L. Smith Sr.; son, James Pickett; daughter-in-law, Deloris Pickett; grandchildren, Paula Rena Orr, Raymond Smith Jr., Teresa L. Johnson, Tommy Smith, Jimmy Pickett, Brian Pickett, Preston Pickett, and many other grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and also a few great-great-great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.
