Pauline (Greer) Landreth, age 87, was born on October 25, 1934 in Knoble, Arkansas to her parents, the late Armit and Pearl Greer. On April 16, 2022, Pauline passed away very peacefully surrounded by family at her daughter’s residence in Martinsville, Indiana.
In 1940, she and her family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she attended school at Decatur Township. Shortly after that she became a bank teller at American Fletcher. Her next job was at RCA, where she met her husband, Clarence Landreth (Lanny).
Pauline and Lanny were married in July of 1968. 3 years later they had their one and only child, Nicole (Nikki) Johnson in Dec. of 1971.
Pauline had many hobbies including sewing and gardening, but her greatest joy was being a wife and mother. She valued her time with her brothers, sisters, and extended family as well. One of her greatest joys was that of being a grandmother to Karif and Jade. They were her pride and joy.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; her brothers, Clifton, William, James, Robert, and Samuel Greer; and her sister Judy Beaver.
She is survived by her daughter Nicole Johnson; granddaughters Karis Blythe and Jade Johnson; and her sister Lila Green.
Visitation for Pauline will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 11am to 1pm at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park. 425 North Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222
Pauline’s Funeral Service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery.
