Paula Jean Wiese

Paula Jean Wiese, 72, of Indianapolis, IN passed away February 28, 2021. She was born June 29, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to the late Curtis and Norma Jean (Froschauer) Medley. Paula was the Operations Manager for Superior Pool Products before retiring and was well respected and known regionally in her industry. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother. In her younger days she was a competitive figure skater winning numerous awards and trophies. She was a social person and loved playing cards and enjoyed and looked forward to going to her card club dates. She was an avid Colts Football fan, enjoyed laughing, and fishing with her husband. She was active at her church, St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she served on the Altar Society and she volunteered at Harvest House. Paula is survived by her loving husband, David E. Wiese, daughters, Heather (Kevin Foster) Cary, Jennie (Kurt) Sloop, grandchildren, Austin (Cassie) Cary, Mason (Darian) Cary, Ella Jean Sloop, Audrey Lynn Sloop, great grandchildren, Remi Cary and Tali Cary, sisters, Patty (Roy) Midkiff, Peggy (Mike) Casey, brother, Mike(Cindy) Medley, niece, Rae Jean (Gary) Chapman, nephew, Michael (Anne) Medley II, her special friend, Barry and a host of extended family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, March 5, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1401 S. Mickley Ave. Indianapolis, IN. Visitation will be held, Thursday, March 4, 2021 4-8 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township. She will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
