Paula Jean Stanfield

Paula Jean Stanfield, 63, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away August 26, 2020. She was born on November 1, 1956 in Indianapolis to the late Robert J and Doris J. Cox. She attended Arsenal Tech High School.

She was a loving wife to her beloved husband, Philip L. Stanfield. Together, they have fond memories of trucking cross-country and visiting the mountains of Tennessee. Paula loved her family and spent many countless days with her nieces and nephews. Paula hosted family holiday get togethers. Family was dear to Paula’s heart. She loved animals and provided a home for many strays. Paula always had a house full of pets.

Paula is survived by her adoring husband, Philip L. Stanfield; siblings, Kelli Cox (David Corner), Bryan Cox (Chris Shrum), Rhonda Bunting, Todd Cox (Tonya ox); and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Gerald Cox, Gregory Cox, and Jeffrey Cox.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 from 12-2PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 2PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East Funeral Center, 10722 East Washington Park East, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
