Paul Owen Farris

Paul Owen Farris, 60, of Greenfield, IN, passed away February 29, 2020. He was born on November 5, 1959 to Ronald and Tiney Farris in Dayton, OH.

Paul graduated from Warren High School and went on to receive a master’s degree in engineering at Purdue University. Most recently, he worked for Indianapolis Power and Light as an engineer.

Paul met the love of his life and wife of 35 years, Sherry Lee Dailey Farris, at church. He was a gifted singer and sang for the church choir and was also a gifted musician.  In recent years they were member of Light House Baptist Church.

In his free time, Paul loved to spend time with his family. He truly loved the outdoors and his family remembers their summer camping trips fondly. He loved kayaking on the open waters at Eagle Creek and Turkey Run State Park hikes. He was very active and is remembered to always be on the go.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry Lee Dailey Farris; sons, Matthew, Daniel, and David; Brothers, David, Stephen, and Waltis.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Farris.

Friends and family will gather for a time of visitation on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 3PM to 7PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
