Paul J. Overman

Paul J. Overman of Indianapolis died May 11, 2019 at the age of 88.

Paul was born in Indianapolis on July 27, 1930 to the late Paul H. and Mary M. Overman. He married the love of his life Margaret E. Wiese to whom he’s been married for 61 years.

He served his country in the US Army. A hard worker many times working more than one job, he retired from Webber Manufacturing Company after 39 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion #276 and a long-standing member of Deliverance Temple. A great dancer and life of the party, he will be greatly missed for his outgoing nature and his dedication to his family.

Paul is survived by his wife Margaret E. Overman; children Teresa A. Mitchell (Eddie), Violet K. Lambert (Bill), Angela M. Clingerman (Scott), and Timothy Milby (Cindy); 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and daughter-in-law Joanne Milby.

He was preceded in death by his sons David Milby and Walter Milby; and brothers Leroy Overman and Charles Overman.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 14 from 4 to 8 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 15 at 1 PM with visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
