Patti E. Chappell

Patti E. Chappell 76 of Indianapolis, IN passed away November 17, 2022. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 2, 1946, to the late Kenneth M. and Helen (Plake) Griggs. Patti was retired as an Insurance Rater and Underwriter for various Insurance Companies retiring in 2006. She was former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Patti was dearly loved and will be missed by many. She is survived by her son, Robert S. “Scot” Smith, stepson, Erric Chappell, her sisters, Martina Burdine, Daun Ardalene, her brother, Donald Lyle and a host of friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dane L. Chappell, and sister, Sharon. Services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park with visitation there from 12pm until the service time.
