Patricia Sandra Whitley

Patricia Sandra Whitley, 79, of Indianapolis passed away on March 14, 2022.

She was born August 9, 1942 in Kentucky to the late Wayne and Lorene Jackson.

Pat was a dedicated employee of Merico for over 40 years as an Accounting Supervisor.   She attended Howe High School.  Pat married the love of her life in December 1956.  She was a loving mother to her son, Tony and grandmother to her grandson, Justin. Then was blessed with beautiful twin great granddaughters, Indi and Isla.  Pat loved decorating and worked for Decorators To Go for several years.  She loved shopping for just the right thing to go in just a particular place.  Pat was loved by all her many friends and played in a Euchre Couples Club for 32 years.  She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis; grand son, Justin Whitley (wife Noel), one brother, Richard Jackson ( wife Phyllis), two sisters LaDonna Herrin ( husband Rick), Cyndie Taylor-White ( husband Mike), and two beautiful  granddaughters Indi and Isla Whitley. She was also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, great, great nephews and great great nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Lorene Jackson; her son, Anthony “Tony” Whitley; her sister, Carol Ground; her husband, Charlie.

A visitation will be held Tuesday March 22, 2022, from 11AM to 1PM at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229.

The service will follow the visitation, beginning at 1PM.

Patricia will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
