Patricia Russell

Patricia Russell, 87 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday afternoon, October 13, 2024.

Patricia was born on December 18, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of Kenneth and Hazel (Goldsby) Brooks.

She married Larry Leonard Russell on November 3, 1957 in Indianapolis. Larry preceded her in death on November 7, 2005.

She is survived by two children: daughter Karen (husband Tony) Hollandsworth of Beech Grove, Indiana and son David (wife Rhonda) Russell of Perrysburg, Ohio.

Six grandchildren: Leigh anne, Joseph, Jennifer, Levi, Leslie (husband Tyler), and Lindsey (husband Joshua).

Great grandchildren: Emma, Madison, Jacksyn, Austen, Eliana, Callan, and Kinley

Patricia attended Castleton United Methodist Church for many years. She greatly enjoyed keeping up with current events and news, crossword puzzles and watching movies.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who dearly loved her family. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family, including her fur baby Lacey, and all those who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park Funeral Center, located at 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.

Her funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Chaplain Tom Barley will officiate.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery where Patricia will be laid to rest with her husband Larry Russell.
