Patricia Rae (Gaalema) Shidler Johnson

66, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully in her home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Charles C. Gaalema and the late LaVerne (Reinking) Gaalema. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Daniel Shidler, the father of her three children. She is survived by her three children Tammy (David Cooper) Shidler, Cheri (Dave) Walden, Stephanie (Greg) Terry, her husband Michael Johnson, her grandchildren Ashley (Zach) Piercy, Andrew Warmouth, Cassandre Colwell, Whitney Colwell, Shane Colwell, Sierra Colwell, Olivia Terry, Jackson Terry, her great grandchildren Alexis Piercy, Braxton Colwell, Emma Piercy, Madie Piercy, Harper Warmouth, who they lovingly called Mimi! She was also survived by her sisters Phyllis Fischer, Connie Gaalema, Janice Worth, Mary Ann Hawkins, Mary Jo Riffle and a brother Tony Gaalema. In addition to her parents and her first husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Charles and Frank Gaalema. She also loved her animals “Murray” who passed away of natural causes. She also loved her present pets “Roxey” and “Boo”. She will be greatly missed by all! Pat also worked as a dental receptionist and assistant for 10 years with Dr. Brian Walker dental office until she retired due to her illness. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-3pm with a celebration of life service Thursday at 3pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park. Inurnment will follow the services in Floral Park Cemetery.
