Patricia "Patti" Reasner

Patti passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. She was born in Kent, Ohio as the only child of Martha Lee and Abert Steffel. While in grade school, her family moved to Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where she graduated from Northside High School. She attended Indiana University, where she was a 70-year member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.

While at IU, Patti met Robert Shumaker, and they were married for 25 years. Patti was a sales manager for L.S. Ayers & Co. She was also active in several organizations, such as the Indianapolis Museum of Art and St. Margarets Guild.

Patti was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church. In January 1984, she married the love of her life, Glenn R. Reasner, who preceded her in death. They were married 20 years, and together they owned a winter home in Naples, Florida. They loved animals, especially dogs, enjoyed playing golf, and traveling overseas.

Patti is survived by son, Timothy Lee Shumaker; daughter Kelly Martha Shumaker; stepson, Gary Reasner (Elizabeth); stepdaughter, Holly Huff; five grandchildren, Dustin Reasner, Kyle (Desiree) Reasner, Sarah (Bobby) Strohrigl, Mike (Lindsay) Huff, Lauren Huff; 3 great grandchildren, Emma, Aubrey, and Haley Strohrigl and the sorority sisters of Delta Gamma.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm with Funeral Service immediately following on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd W. Dr. Indianapolis.
