Patricia -Pat- Poynter

Patricia "Pat" Poynter, 70, of Avon, Indiana, died February 7, 2017 at home surrounded by family.

Pat was born to the late Ray and Mae Beeler, February 14, 1946 in Dearborn, MI. She graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1964. She was married to Robert "Tom" Poynter. They would have celebrated their 44th anniversary on March 31st of this year.

Pat was a stay at home mom and very active in her daughters' lives. She was a room mom, team mom, in the PTO, and a Central Sound mom for many years.

Pat is survived by her husband, Tom Poynter and her four children: Donna Cummings of Reelsville, IN; Tammy Henson of Indianapolis, IN; Angie Preddie of Indianapolis, IN; Susie Vannice of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 11AM-2PM on Saturday, February 11, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan–Speedway 2950 N High School Rd. A Funeral Service will begin at 2 PM the same day.
