Her Story

The sun rose for Patricia JoAnn Oliver on July 28,1941 In Indianapolis, In, the 8th child of Samuel P and Johnnie B. Williams.
Her education led her through the Indianapolis Public School system and she graduated from Crispus Atticks High School in 1959.
As her life journey continued, she married her childhood sweetheart and to the union was born five children- Jerry Lee, Christopher Lamont, Derrick, Patricia JoAnn, and Pamela Renee.
Patricia (Patti) devoted her life as a loving mother, and housewife for a number of years, and carried her love and Nurturing to the residents of Three Sisters Nursing Home as Lead Head Supervisor in the Dietary Department. She retired after 30(+) years of faithful service.
In her golden years she enjoyed her leisure time with friends and family and assisted her sister Elease at the Unleavened Bread Café.
After years of love and service in his infinite wisdom, her sunset into heavenly rest began on August 29, 2017 at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 1 day.
Patricia is preceeded in death by five brother; Ralph, Calvin, James Otis, Samuel Jr. and Earl. One sister; Shirlean.
She leaved to cherish her well lived life, her children; Jerry(Sarah), Christopher, Derrick(Alfreda), Patricia(Willie) Lemons, and Pamela(Toni) Payne.
She also leaves, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Along with many friends.
The family of Patricia JoAnn Oliver wishes to Thank everyone for their expressions of sympathy and acts of kindness during this time of bereavement.
