Patricia Burk-Hearn

Greenfield, Indiana – Patricia Burk-Hearn, 68 years old, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, due to natural causes. Her giving attitude, wit, and love for her family will be deeply missed.

Pattie was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 6, 1956. She worked a variety of jobs throughout her life before retiring from Apex Paving as their office coordinator. Pattie married her late husband, Terry in 2012 and they remained together until his passing in 2016.

Pattie was a member of Brandywine Community Church and Trinity Park Church, volunteering her time at both churches. When she had free time, Pattie enjoyed crafts and sewing but looked most forward to planting flowers in her garden when spring would come in. She would watch the hummingbirds while music, probably 99.5, played in the background.

Pattie is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Hearn.

She is survived by her children, Richy Burk (Melanie), Lorie Edwards (Luke), and Robert Burk (Karli); her mother Phyllis Allegree; grandchildren Grace Edwards, Connor Edwards, Ellie Edwards, Jarrett Burk, Easton Burk, Taylor Spurgeon, Mia Raynor and Ryker Crook; great grandchild Olivia Dodd; as well as her very close friend and cousin, Kim Crail; and her beloved bulldog Dale.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229) from 12 pm – 2 pm with funeral services following at 2 pm. Officiant Mitch Burk will be presiding.
