Patricia Burgess

Patricia “Patty” A. Burgess, 66, passed away September 17th, 2021. She was born March 14th, 1955, in Louisville, Kentucky to parents Arthur and Louetta (Everidge) Wright. Patty was raised by her grandmother Masie Lewis and her step-grandfather Bo Lewis who she lovingly called Mom and Bo.
She attended Emmerich Manual High School.
Patty worked several jobs in her lifetime, most recently as a shift supervisor at CVS; a job she excelled at and enjoyed.
Patty was a lovely, caring woman. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, niece, and friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She never missed a game, a meet, a dance, or first day of school. She surrounded herself with photos of her loved ones. She was always on the go, enjoyed doing charity walks with friends, and loved attending country concerts with her grandchildren and friends.
Patty is survived by her children Chris Burgess (Jamie Jorgenson) and Louetta Holland, grandchildren Darian Holland, Riley Holland, Kailey Holland (Ericka Lesch), A.J. (Calista) Burgess, Tahana (Jessie) Pelky, and Autumn (Shawn) McIntyre, great-grandchildren Iden Pelky and Amyas McIntyre, sister Teresa (Michael) Milburn, aunts Wanda McIntosh and Ann Skinner, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and host of dear friends.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, and several cousins.
Visitation for Patty will be at Flanner Buchanan Memorial Park, October 2nd from 10-12pm. Her funeral service will begin at 12. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
