Fishers, Indiana – Patricia L. Brydon, 89, passed away in the comfort of her family and friends on July 19, 2024. Pat was born to parents Robert & Mary Ryan in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 26, 1935.
Patricia enjoyed a long career with RCA, which later became Thompson Consumer. She excelled in her work becoming the director of their rebate department.
Pat always made sure friends and family never left her house without a full meal and a sweet treat. She won several awards over the years for her cooking and baking, including many blue ribbons for her famous fruitcake. Pat also enjoyed showing off her artistic side and love of Christmas with her beautiful crafts.
But Pat’s true passion was always family. A strong-willed woman who loved fiercely, she was kind and caring, but when she had to be, she was an unwavering pillar of strength. Pat lived a full but sometimes trying life, and she always rose to the challenge. She will be deeply missed.
Pat is survived by her children, Pamela Berry, Lisa Hyatt (Rick), and Jeff Brydon, daughter-in-law Sharon Brydon, sisters Judy Ryan and Tammy Moran, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John W. Brydon, and sons Robert Brydon and Douglas Brydon.
