Patricia Ann Shannon

Patricia Ann Shannon, a caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022, at the age of 80 years old. Patricia was born to Arphenus and Margaret Pepper on April 18, 1941.

She attended Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis. Patricia was married to DeWayne Shannon in 1957, who preceded her in death, together they were blessed with five children.

She lived a life committed to Christ and was baptized at an early age. She attended last The Rock Community Church.

Patricia enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and sewing, especially for her family. She enjoyed nothing more than watching classic movies on TCM and shopping on QVC. She worked for over 10 years at Chambers and Commerce where she retired.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Barbara Shannon-Johnson (Leroy) and Jacqueline Young (Albert); Sons, Dwayne Samuel, and Richard Douglas Shannon; Sisters, Betty Brinkley, Ruth A. Lyles, and Marva Pepper; Brothers, Nathaniel “Sunny”, Victor and Anthony Pepper; Daughter-in-Law, Mona Lisa Shannon; Patricia also leaves 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
