Patricia A. "Pat" Mason

Patricia A. “Pat” Mason, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 15, 2018.

Pat was born on April 29, 1941 in Bloomington, to the late James and Fern Hostetter. While working as a seamstress for Crown Cleaners, Pat met Lowell T. Mason who was Vice President at the time. Pat and Lowell married and opened their own dry-cleaning company, Carmel Cleaners and spent 25 years in business together. Pat loved spending time at the American Legion Post in Carmel and cherished the friendships she made there. She loved puzzles and spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Lowell; 3 step-children, Kevin, Deborah, and Brenda; and her parents. She leaves behind her son, Keith Hoover; step-daughter, Liz Shaw (Larry); 2 grandchildren, Meliesa Hoover and Ryan Hoover; great-granddaughters, Madason and Kaydence.

Friends and family are invited to gather 5:00-8:00pm on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East. A funeral service will take place 11:00am on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
