Pasupuleti "Krish" Venkata Krishnayya

Pasupuleti “Krish” Venkata Krishnayya, age 83, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020, at IU Methodist Hospital. Born in Masulipatam, Andhra Pradesh, India, he was a resident of Naperville, IL for many years, more recently residing in Warren, NJ and Shelton, CT. He was a Fishers, IN resident since 2017.

Krish studied engineering at Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England, earning his Bachelor of Arts in 1959 and his Master of Arts in 1964, followed by his Master of Business Administration from University of Chicago in 1977. Retired from Unilever after many years of service. Member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Loving husband, father, brother and uncle. Survived by his wife, Pervize (nee Rivetna) Krishnayya of Fishers; son Raiomand (Meghan) Krishnayya of Indianapolis; sisters Jayalakshmi (Venkatesh) Narayanamurti and Hema (Bhaskar) Dutta; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Pasupuleti Govinda and Chellayamma Krishnayya.

Private services for Pasupuleti V. Krishnayya will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11:30am at Flanner Buchanan 2950 N. High School Road, Speedway. A celebration of life will occur at a time when family and friends can safely gather in person.

As services will be virtual, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Krish’s memory to the P.V. Krishnayya Scholarship Fund at the Center for Victim and Human Rights (www.cvhr.org). Both Krish and Pervize have been significant founding donors to the CVHR, and this perpetuating scholarship will fund the employment of non-profit management interns and law clerks in support of crime victims’ rights.
