Panagiotis "Pete" Priggooris Kostarides

Panagiotis “Pete” Priggooris Kostarides, 64 of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, December 10. He was born on August 21, 1953 in Lansing, MI. He graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School in 1971 and spent over a year at Indiana University in Indianapolis studying business before joining the US Army during the Vietnam War. Pete was a Finance Specialist SP4 at Fort Harrison and spent over a year at an Army base in Furth Germany. Pete was an Indianapolis Star carrier for several years, worked for the Center Township Assessor’s office of Marion County, Adesa Auto Auctions and Regency Technologies, Inc. He was a former member of the board of directors for East Ohio Street Realty Co. involved in the parking business in downtown Indianapolis. Pete was a former member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and most recently a member of Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church. He was also a member of the Order of AHEPA. Pete was predeceased by his father George, mother Eustathia, uncle Anastasios and first cousin Dr. Soterios Priggooris of Athens, Greece. Pete is survived by brother Angelo (Helen Papas-) Kostarides, first cousins Andrew (Margaret), Helen and aunt Mary Kostarides all of Indianapolis. Pete is also survived by first cousin George Priggooris of Athens, Greece and “uncle” Peter Priggooris of East Lansing, MI. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 13 at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 4550 Central Avenue, Indianapolis. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in the Field of Valor section.
