P. Leroy Smithhart

P. Leroy Smithhart, 85 of Indianapolis, IN passed away January 18, 2021. He was born January 24, 1935 in Evansville, IN to the late Claude A. and Bonnie L. (Kelly) Smithhart. Leroy owned and operated Leroy’s Barber Shop in Indianapolis, IN retiring after 53 years of being in business. He proudly served in the U S Navy during the Korean War. Leroy was a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Lee Lawrence, grandson, Jason Smithhart, great grandson, Brystun Smithhart and a nephew Loran Smithhart. Services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 11 AM at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with visitation there from 9 :00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Heights Baptist Church 5625 Kentucky Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46221.
