Oscar Alexander, Sr., 82, Indianapolis, died Friday, February 18 at 8:00 a.m. in North Capital Nursing & Rehabilitation in Indianapolis.
He was born December 10, 1918 in Kentucky.
He was a Maintenance Mechanic for a Heat Treatment Plant and a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. Memorial Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2000 in Flanner & Buchanan Speedway Mortuary. Reverend Michael L. Gant officiating. There will be no calling. He was the widower of Mary Kate (Buchanan) Alexander. She died on March 25, 1999. Survivors: Sons and special ladies William and Barbara, Ralph E. and Kathy, Oscar Jr. and Lenora, Kenneth and Lois Alexander. 11 grandchildren Sabrina Stith, Rhonda Alexander, Stacy Anderson, Richard Alexander, Oscar Alexander III, Andre Reynolds, Jennifer Reynolds, Damon Alexander, James Alexander, Mary Alexander, Keith Spells, John and Patrick Moore. 16 great-grandchildren Corey and Dorian Anderson, Adrian Gant, Andre Reynolds, Deion and Derrick Alexander, Makara Thomas, Michael & Nicholas Spells, Jamal Moore, Jasmine, Diamond and Mariah Alexander, William D. Alexander, Earl Stith, Jr., Germany Moore, and Joshua Thomas.
