Opal J. “Babe” Germain

82, of Danville, passed away on November 15, 2016. Opal was born on January 9, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Roy and Ruth (Eagan) Modglin. She was a devoted mother and wife, who loved traveling and camping across the country with her family. She also enjoyed Quilting and knitting in her spare time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Betty Threewits, Katherine Hardy, Sylvia Logue, her brothers Roy, Charles, Edward Modglin. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Mack “Sonny” Germain, son Don Germain, a brother Ben Modglin and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park, with services Saturday at 10am in the funeral center. Burial will follow the services in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
