Olen Dale Miller Sr.,

77, of Indianapolis, passed away September 12, 2018. He was born September 2, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN to Olen R. and Marion Miller. Olen’s generosity was loved and appreciated by many. He accomplished so much in his 77 years of life. He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years while stationed in Germany. After his service, he became a private pilot. For 37 years, he was a truck driver spending the majority of his career with McClean Trucking Company and was a part of Teamsters Local #135. Olen worked hard to provide for others. He will be missed sorely by all of the lives he touched.

Olen was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Marion; sister, Dixie Duke; and grandson, Matthew Miller. He is survived by his children, Susie (Joseph) Ditsworth, April Miller, Raymond (Jeanette) Miller, and Olen (Kim) Miller Jr.; brother, Gary Miller; 18 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 11am-1pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd., Indpls. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1pm.
