Norma June Seib beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away early Thursday morning April 29th surrounded by her family.
She was a protector and advocate for everyone she met. Grounded in her faith and love for her fellow human beings she spent her life in service to others.
Her Catholic faith was a cornerstone of her life. She attended Saint Andrews and Bishop Chatard High School. She found her faith home as a parishioner at Saint Thomas Aquinas where she acted as the youth minister and director of religious education. Through her example she taught the youth of the parish to put their faith into action. Whether she was: preparing children for the Sacraments, leading trips to World Youth Day, the National Catholic Youth Conference and Nazareth farm, or local food pantries she was ever present in the community.
Later in life she went back to school and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She used her degree serving the elderly and sick in skilled nursing facilities in Indianapolis where she became a director of nursing where she worked until her illness would not allow her to continue.
She is preceded in death by her infant daughter Lisa Seib, her granddaughter Maddie Seib, and her father Richard Cordell. She is survived by her husband Ed, mother Beth Cordell, brother Dale (Rita) Cordell, sister Party Williams(Chris Mayes) , sister Barb Cordell, and sister Lynda Wilson, her children Ed V (Jane), John (Julie), Matt (Brittany), Christy Stinette (Michael) and Michael (Kat) and her grandchildren: Eddie V, Daisy, Frankie, June, Grace, Charlotte, Gigi , Luke, Emily, and Caroline and her niece Angela Wilson.
